Nogging track

Siniat nogging track provides support for the studs, enabling greater wall heights. They come in widths of 64mm, 76mm, 92mm and 150mm and a length of 3670mm.

Noggings are horizontal bracings used in stud wall frames to provide additional structural adequacy to the wall. By using noggings a solid frame is created for the application of plasterboard, and thereby cracks are prevented from forming in the joints.

Also used 100mm from the top track on a single sided system where wind bracing is required.
