Furring channel
Siniat furring channel is part of Siniat suspended ceiling systems.
In suspended ceiling systems they are used together with Siniat top cross rail to create a stable substrate to which various types of boards can be screw fixed. Furring channel helps prevent cracking of the board in suspended systems, or in a clip-fixed system.
Ceiling linings can be fixed directly to the furring channel or suspended below it.
Siniat furring channels are available in depths of 18mm (FC 18) and 28mm (FC 28), a width of 38mm and lengths of up to 6000mm.
FC18 can be used in domestic and lightweight commercial ceilings. FC28 is the preferred product for commercial applications due to its superior spanning and load-bearing capacity.
Wide faced furring channel comes with a width of 60mm and is often used when installing Createx and butt joints.
Furring channel is also used in wall applications.
Curved furring channel is a made-to-order item and available upon request.
