Slotted DH track

The slots in the Siniat slotted deflection head track allow for vertical drift (up or down deflection of the slab), avoiding buckling of the frame and maintaining the integrity of the substrate.

Also used in seismic design.

Applications:

  • Slotted deflection head track is used in wall systems that require vertical deflection from the ceiling.

Benefits:

  • Limits damage such as cracking of the lining and buckling of the frame caused by deflection of the structure above.
