How is Smartwall installed?
Smartwall is installed using drywall lining rather than traditional plaster. It arrives on site as full sheets and is measured and cut to size on site as required. There is a specific water-resistant board designed for use in wet areas of the home such as bathrooms and laundries to withstand moisture and humidity.
1. Prepare surface
The bricks are cleaned before installation of the Smartwall. Masonry Adhesive is then applied directly to the wall at specific spacings.
2. Install Smartwall
The Smartwall boards are then installed. Window and door openings are cut around as required.
3. Finish surface
Joints and corners are then flushed and finished which includes a final sanding coat ensuring a clean and smooth finish to the Smartwall.
