Moving and shaking at Etex!

There have been various promotions and new appointments in the Australian Etex management team and the greater APAC region over the past couple of months.

“APAC is an area of growth for the Etex Group and it is exciting to see many opportunities coming up for our teammates,” said Etex Australia Managing Director (Siniat) Gavin Burton.

Gavin was recently appointed as the APAC Regional Head for Etex Building Performance. He will remain on as Country Manager for Etex Australia, the manufacturer of Siniat products in Australia, for the immediate future.

The other movers and shakers are:

Rob Verguizas joined our team as the new National Sales Director in May. Rob has enjoyed a long and successful career with James Hardie, most recently as Director of Sales for the Australian business. He comes with extensive knowledge of the building materials industry together with a deep understanding of the channels to market. It is great to have him on board!

Russell Raihan has taken on additional responsibilities as Head of Regional Finance (Building Performance) in the APAC region. Russell has been with the business just over 8 years, most recently holding the position as Chief Financial Officer for the Siniat business in Australia.

In another recent development Operations Director at Etex Australia Andy Rylance has been appointed Head of Continuous Improvement at Etex. He will be relocating to Bristol, UK to take up the new role. Nicolas Cauderlier has been appointed as the APAC Head of Manufacturing. He will be responsible for the management of the five Etex factories in Australia (Siniat and Promat), two in Indonesia and one in China.

Late last year Phil Renwick, Human Resources Director, was appointed to Regional Head of HR in Asia and the Middle East. Jennifer Stack, who has been with our business for 15 years, was promoted to National HR Business Partner at Etex Australia.
